rescheduled

pipers mri has been rescheduled for tomorrow at six thirty in the morning. apparently, she is not considered an emergency so thats sorta kinda nice.

piper is pretty miserable and hungry but mommy is pretty worried. i think i shall go find an iced chai and some pediasure and make both of us ladies happier.

  2. Hi Susanna....Thanks for updating again, been thinking of you all day. Glad they aren't considering her an emergency, but I'm sure you'll be glad when the morning comes so that they can tell you what's going on. Praying for you all and for great results!

    Here are a few verses that I hope are encouraging...
    (Sarah's life verse) Joshua 1:9 - Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

    Job 9:10 - He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted.

    Lamentations 3:22-25 - Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, “The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.” The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him,to the one who seeks him.

    Praying you feel covered up in His love the rest of today and especially in the morning.

  3. You've been on my mind often today. We prayed for you and Chad, Linley and Piper during staff meeting at Redeemer this morning. I'm sorry the MRI was rescheduled, making you have to wait. Waiting is the hardest, but it's when we cling to Christ the most. There's nothing else to hang on to. Did you get better sleep last night? Praying it's a good night's rest for you and Piper. I imagine you'll be waking early to prep for the MRI. Anxious to hear and asking God for the best news possible. My alarm goes off at 6:30am, so I'll start my day putting your names before the Lord.
